On the sixth day of the first month of the lunar calendar, on the main road of Sany Heavy Industry's Changsha plant, brand-new pump trucks with big red flowers are ready to go. During the Spring Festival, the slightly deserted streets instantly become lively. The relevant person in charge of Sany Group stated that there are a total of 88 pump trucks parked on the main road of the Changsha plant, which will be delivered to customers together with the mixer trucks and cranes produced in Shaoyang, Ningxiang, Nankou and other industrial parks.
During the Spring Festival this year, in order to meet market demand, Sany Group's industrial parks are busy with production. Some brokerage firms believe that the domestic equipment update demand superimposed on the overseas market share will further increase, and it is expected that the construction machinery industry will maintain a relatively high level of prosperity.

On the second day of the Lunar New Year, in the 18th workshop of Sany Heavy Industry, steel spattered and machine tools roared. The author saw many workers immersed in work. Pu Mingjun, the leader of the assembly team of Sany Heavy Industry Pumping Division, told the author that due to the company's good policies, he and his team members chose to celebrate the New Year locally this year.
"There is a reward for returning to work with three times the salary, free meals, and good remuneration. You must have enough energy to work." Xu Lianghao, an assembler of the pump truck assembly line, said while busying his work.
Pu Mingjun said that the number of pump trucks can now reach 30 units per day. Thanks to the advanced technology of the "Lighthouse Factory", compared with the busiest September in 2020, today's production capacity has doubled and people are more relaxed.
The Ningxiang Industrial Park is the same as the 18th workshop, the roar of the machine is constant, and the workers are busy shuttled between the various production lines.
Jing Tao, assistant copy supervisor of the Crane Manufacturing Headquarters, came to the workshop early in the morning to start work, drawing up plans, reviewing reports, organizing meetings, and invigorating shipments. He was too busy to drink water.
Jing Tao said that he arrived at the workshop at 7:30 in the morning, and that's how he spent the New Year's Eve. "The workers are so motivated, our managers must take the lead. There are many people like me in the company, and the production tasks are tight. Everyone is twisted together."
In the domestic industrial park of Sany Group, many workers who celebrated the Chinese New Year on the spot for the first time were fighting on the front line. In the overseas factories of Sany Group, there are a group of special Sany people who have "lived on the spot for many years".
On the 30th of the New Year, Luo Erxi, general manager of Sany Russia, was busy driving on the construction site early in the morning. The day was the day when 10 Sany excavators were delivered. In the snow and ice of minus 30 degrees, Luo Erxi's heart is indeed fiery: "The last day of the year of the rat ends perfectly, and the future will definitely be bullish."
Since being sent to Russia in 2006, Luo Erxi has worked overseas for 15 years. This year is his fourth Spring Festival overseas. "Last year's Lunar New Year's Eve was also on the construction site. If customers don't stop working, our marketing and services must continue." Luo Erxi said.

"The first batch of construction machinery delivered during the Spring Festival has more than 600 units, including pump trucks, truck-mounted pumps, mixer trucks, cranes, rotary drilling rigs, etc., with a total value of over 1 billion yuan." The relevant person in charge of Sany Group introduced.
Take Changsha Industrial Park and Shaoyang Industrial Park as examples. The Changsha Industrial Park delivered 88 pump trucks this time. The products cover a variety of star pump truck products such as 37 meters, 43 meters, and 56 meters, most of which are self-made chassis of Sany Group. Shaoyang Industrial Park delivered 318 mixer trucks.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Shaoyang Industrial Park, the equipment delivered this time is the latest product of the C8 and C10 series. "This year Sany Special Automobile is expected to produce 45,000 vehicles, and it is expected to produce about 10,000 vehicles in the first quarter."
Sun Chengjun, director of the small excavation workshop of Sany Heavy Industry, said that the demand for construction machinery is strong this year, and the production line has never stopped since New Year's Day. "During the Spring Festival, many customers are waiting for excavators. In addition to the large and small digging machines in Kunshan, the production lines in Lingang, the pile crane in Nankou, and the hydraulic parts in Changshu are all very busy."
According to data from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the 26 mainframe manufacturers included in the statistics in January 2021 sold a total of 19,601 excavators of various types, a year-on-year increase of 97.2%. Among them, the domestic market sales volume was 16,026 units, a year-on-year increase of 106.6%; the export sales volume was 3575 units, a year-on-year increase of 63.7%.
According to Lu Ying, deputy secretary-general of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, the high growth rate of excavator sales is due to the relatively low base in the same period in 2020 on the one hand, and demand-driven on the other.
Lu Ying said: “From the perspective of product structure, the sales volume of excavators over 20 tons has increased significantly. This is just a rigid demand, which means that many projects with higher investment intensity have started. For example, excavators over 40 tons are generally mines. use."
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the PMI of my country's manufacturing industry was 51.3% in January, down 0.6 percentage points from the previous month, and was above the threshold for 11 consecutive months, indicating that the manufacturing industry continued to expand.
GF Securities believes that the current domestic demand remains stable, and the cyclical volatility will be greatly reduced in the future under the support of equipment update demand. At the same time, my country's construction machinery has been greatly improved in product strength. In the future, with the strengthening of brand channels and the gradual emergence of manufacturing cost advantages, Chinese construction machinery equipment companies are expected to expand their market shares overseas.
GF Securities pointed out that Beijing will implement new environmental protection regulations ahead of schedule, and the elimination of high-emission equipment will accelerate. In the context of "carbon neutrality", the "National One" and "National Two" equipment were cleared, releasing a large amount of demand for updates. The domestic equipment update demand and the overseas market are two-wheel drive, and the industry is facing an upswing period. In general, the current round of high prosperity in the construction machinery industry is expected to continue.
